Welcome To the PeopleSoft Technology SIG

Attention OAUG PeopleSoft Technology SIG Members

The PeopleSoft Technology SIG announces the next Open Mic call. PeopleTools Strategy wants to hear from you! What Oracle database technologies do you want PeopleTools to adopt in future Tools releases? Gather your ideas and come prepared to discuss them - be ready to outline why your idea(s) should be implemented before others in future PeopleTools releases.

The Open Mic sessions are not guaranteed to have any or all the answers, but we think this is a great way to begin the channels of communication with other PeopleSoft customers running on the Oracle platform.

At these sessions we invite our membership to join and share, listen, and learn from each other.

This networking opportunity requires your participation to be successful! Please spread the word if this may be of interest to you and others!

Details of the Open Mic call are: November 4 @ 10am PST (11am Mountain, noon central, 1pm Eastern)
    Call in number: 866-682-4770 ID/pwd: 8335858/123123

    Background
At the 2001 PeopleSoft Connect conference the suggestion was raised to form an Oracle SIG.  Curiously, there was at the time, a SIG for Informix, DB2 and SQLServer, but not one for Oracle which 60% of the PeopleSoft installs use.  In early 2002 an Oracle SIG was defined and recognized by PeopleSoft.  In January 2006 following the Oracle/PeopleSoft merger, the SIG was redefined and recognized as a member group of the Oracle Applications Users Group, and is now called the PeopleSoft Technology SIG.
