Welcome To the PeopleSoft Technology SIG

Attention OAUG PeopleSoft Technology SIG Members

    Dear PeopleSoft Tech SIG Member,

Recently, the OAUG and Quest leadership met to discuss the true home of PeopleSoft content and membership in the Oracle Independent User Group community. It was discovered that Quest’s membership demographic and educational programming is fittingly structured to meet the needs of PeopleSoft users. As a result, the PeopleSoft Special Interest Groups (SIGs) currently affiliated with the OAUG are transitioning to affiliation with Quest, as there is a large community of Oracle PeopleSoft groups within the Quest user-run, user-led community and this will enhance the educational and networking opportunities for you. Also with this move it will unify the PeopleSoft community under one umbrella. We hope that you join us in this move. To begin this transition, members of the Tech SIG will be uploaded into the Quest database to start receiving notices about PeopleSoft news and events. This includes the weekly newsletter the Weekly Download and information about registering through Quest to attend COLLABORATE or Quest’s deep-dive PeopleSoft event, RECONNECT.

If you DO NOT wish to receive information on the latest releases of PeopleSoft and support from Quest’s PeopleSoft community, please email uginfo@questdirect.org with the subject “Unsubscribe from Quest” by February 4, 2013.

As part of this transition, the PeopleSoft Tech SIG Website will also be hosted by Quest and can be found at:

    PeopleSoft Update:

The release of PeopleSoft 9.2 is nearly here! Oracle will provide demos of the upcoming PeopleSoft release and a PeopleSoft roadmap through 2027 at this year’s COLLABORATE conference. While COLLABORATE covers topics for your entire Oracle ecosystem, it is the largest customer-led conference in the US for PeopleSoft customers. Quest is hosting all the education and networking for PeopleSoft customers this year.

Attend COLLABORATE to hear directly from Paco Aubrejuan, vice president of PeopleSoft, how the new release will affect your company. Meet Oracle experts on the newest release who will give guidance to attendees who want to upgrade or are planning an upgrade. Conference education includes sessions, interactive panel discussions and hands-on learning opportunities packed with first-hand experiences, case studies and practical “how-to” content. To find out more, visit QuestDirect.org/COLLABORATE or see a sneak peek of the conference using the COLLABORATE Advance Program: http://bit.ly/AdvanceProgramC13.
