Welcome to the PeopleSoft Technology SIG

OAUG PeopleSoft Technology SIG Members - The OAUG PeopleSoft Technology SIG announces our second PeopleSoft Technology SIG collaboration event for 2012. The PeopleSoft Technology SIG will be hosting an SIG meeting at Collaborate 2012 on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 4:30 pm. The topic of this meeting is a general session followed by a presentation of a PeopleSoft Object Detail Application.

The PeopleSoft Object Detail application is a custom application developed to aid in the identification of PeopleSoft objects using a user friendly interface. This application is very useful in the upgrade process when identifying PeopleSoft objects (fields, records, pages ,...) that have been customized. This tool is also helpful in identifying the relationships between PeopleSoft objects.

Title: PeopleSoft Technology SIG meeting at Collaborate 2012
    Date: April 22,2012
    Time: 4:30 pm
    Session Number: 10528
    Room: Jasmine B

    Background
At the 2001 PeopleSoft Connect conference the suggestion was raised to form an Oracle SIG.  Curiously, there was at the time, a SIG for Informix, DB2 and SQLServer, but not one for Oracle which 60% of the PeopleSoft installs use.  In early 2002 an Oracle SIG was defined and recognized by PeopleSoft.  In January 2006 following the Oracle/PeopleSoft merger, the SIG was redefined and recognized as a member group of the Oracle Applications Users Group, and is now called the PeopleSoft Technology SIG.
